Achan is a farmer with over 5 years of experience in garden education and operational work. They’ve cultivated both annual and perennial gardens in Zone 6 and Zone 7. Achan has farming expertise, educational experience, and leadership skills that are an asset to any gardening organization. They curated 20 hours of curriculum in 2025 ranging from transplanting, harvesting, seed starting, organic pest management, nutrition, plant ID, and more. They’ve taken intensive workshops of the SEL approach to learning, practicing anti-ageism to break down barriers of connection and activities, and more- and have experience leading garden education from pre-K to young adults.
